Samsung Galaxy A30 Review: Hands on

The Samsung Galaxy A30 is one of two mid-range phones announced by Samsung at , and is apparently named after the third longest A-road in Britain. Samsung's flagship offerings have so far remained popular with those who have lots of money to spend, but the company hasn't been as competitive in the budget segment of the market.

Good; Vivid Super AMOLED display; Up-to-date software; Solid battery life; Built well

Bad; Weak speaker; Fingerprint sensor isn't easily accessible; Underwhelming cameras; Processor not competitive enough at the price; Sluggish face recognition

From an Indian perspective, the mid-range smartphone category was one where Samsung was severely lacking behind competitors from Xiaomi, Honor and others. However, Samsung's gone on the offensive in the last few months. We've already reviewed the Samsung Galaxy M10 , M20 , M30 , and A50 .

Great design Best-in-class display Good general performance

Gaming performance isn't great Camera performance is disappointing

Samsung Galaxy A30 Review – A breath of Fresh Air for Samsung!

You get an excellent display, great battery life, decent cameras, good build quality, and the design itself isn't bad either. The one thing this phone lacks is performance, plus the slow fingerprint sensor and face unlock.

Samsung Galaxy A30 Review: Should You Go For It

Ever since the beginning of 2019, Samsung has announced a surprisingly huge number of smartphones including its budget M-series , premium mid-range A-series , and the flagship S-series .

Beautiful AMOLED screen; Lightweight & comfortable; Above average cameras; One UI sure is refreshing; Fast fingerprint sensor

Glasstic panel scratches quickly; Overpriced; even for offline users

Samsung Galaxy A30

Meet the Samsung Galaxy A30, one of the middle childs in the A series, between the Samsung Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A50. At MWC 2019 , went hands-on with the A30 and A50.

Vibrant Super AMOLED screen; Sizable battery life; Fast user interface

Camera effects weren't reliable; Felt a tiny bit unwieldy
