I got this mic to interview a friends pre-wedding interview in our home. I'm a novice by audio standards but I must say I was very delighted in the sound quality this mic provided. Was also glad it uses 9V battery or phantom power.

I field tested this live, along with my standard audio Technica Pro 4, and a new Neumann KMS-105... I love the Rode. The Neumann was no better than the Pro 4. Needs bass roll off though, but great for the price. (I would have easily paid more.)
