Roccat Kone[+] Mouse and ISKU Keyboard

Some things just go well together. Peas and carrots, Ferrari and beautiful women, and a keyboard and mouse. Of those examples, there's one that tops the rest, but suffice it to say that at least in the computer realm, the keyboard and mouse are likely the most critical combinations possible for just...

Sleek design styling; comfortable ergonomics; LED lighting effects; abundant features; extra features when used together

Expensive; no removable wrist rest; lettering faint in bright light; low illumination levels on ISKU

ROCCAT Kone XTD Laser Mouse

The feel of the mouse in the hand is very comfortable, with extended periods of gaming offering no issues with comfort. All the main buttons were easy to reach (apart from that button in front of the mouse wheel) and I never felt the mouse was at risk of shifting in my hand even in the most intense...

Roccat Kone review

Roccat first came to my attention a few years ago at one CeBIT trade show in Hannover before the company came to these shores. The kit looked good and offered some neat touches. This far down the line though, has it managed to fulfil all its Germanic promise with the release of the Kone mouse?

ROCCAT Kone EMP Optical Gaming Mouse

The best mouse I've ever used, including in stores; The sensor and software are both pretty much perfect and the shape and build are solid too; Good choice of materials and LEDs

LED colour accuracy is poor but this is not really an issue as you can just change the colour value to get the desired colour; Cable likes to keep its shape

Roccat Kone

The Kone has earned itself a spot among our favourite gaming mice, Roccat proving it's got what it takes. Recommended.

Highly customisable; Comfortable; TCU may give you a slight edge

Right handers only; Electronics on the customisable weights is a waste; Advanced macro editor broken

Roccat Kone[+] Gaming Mouse

Roccat has let a new mouse loose on the gaming world, the Roccat Kone [+] ($79.99 list)-and this one knows how to talk. With Roccat's Talk technology, the mouse can be used in conjunction with the Roccat Isku illuminated gaming keyboard ($89.99 list, 3.5 stars), sharing functions for more intuitive...

Comfortable design with adjustable weight; 6000dpi sensor; EasyShift[+] and programmable macros add huge functionality; RoccatTalk lets it team up with a keyboard

No wireless option

ROCCAT Kone XTD

German peripheral manufacturer ROCCAT recently upgraded its gaming mouse line-up with the release of the Kone XTD. Based entirely on Kone [+] from an ergonomic viewpoint, but now touting an upgraded sensor, beefed-up processor and better-built buttons, the £75 XTD is designed to appeal to the...

Excellent software; Cool lighting effects; Super-accurate sensing; Top-class gliding

Hard-to-reach button below scroll wheel; Minor improvements over Kone [+] for most users; Feels a little too big in small/medium-sized hands

Roccat Kone Pure Owl-Eye

Roccat's Kone Pure Owl-Eye can be considered a revamped Kone Optical or Military, using an updated PixArt 3361 sensor and more compact dimensions. This $70 mouse is also lighter and delivers outstanding precision and tracking performance.

Roccat Kone XTD

As a descendant of the well-known Kone [+] gaming mouse, the Roccat Kone XTD has the same shape, size and basic design as its predecessor, but has been enhanced with sturdier buttons and a more precise sensor.

Nice to handle and use; Excellent glide; Comprehensive driver; Precise sensor; Sensor dpi can be adjusted on the fly; EasyShift [+] allows one button to have two functions; Sensor tracks movement of up to 5 metres per second

High CPU use when set to 1000 Hz polling rate; One button (in front of the scroll wheel) isn't very easy to access
