Roccat Kone XTD

As a descendant of the well-known Kone [+] gaming mouse, the Roccat Kone XTD has the same shape, size and basic design as its predecessor, but has been enhanced with sturdier buttons and a more precise sensor.

Nice to handle and use; Excellent glide; Comprehensive driver; Precise sensor; Sensor dpi can be adjusted on the fly; EasyShift [+] allows one button to have two functions; Sensor tracks movement of up to 5 metres per second

High CPU use when set to 1000 Hz polling rate; One button (in front of the scroll wheel) isn't very easy to access

Roccat Kone + Plus

While there are many firms that come and go in the PC hardware word (Vvikoo being one of them) XSR has always done it's best to represent the new guys as fairly as the more established.

Very high sensitivity; Perfect pin point accuracy; Easyshift is great for media and other uses; Sensitivity vocalisations are a novel touch; Easily the best looking mouse around; In-depth Macro abilities; impressive key remapping options

Expensive; No good for left handers

ROCCAT Kone Pure Review

ROCCAT 's great reputation for style in their gaming peripherals was evidenced last month in our review of the Kone XTD. Solid functional design blended with aesthetic flares to create a mouse suitable for a wide variety of games and gamers, who also benefit from built-in customisation.

+ Streamlined design; + Great software; + 5 Profiles; + 8200 DPI sensor; + Omron Switch Technology; + Customisable Lighting

Roccat KONE [+] Review

It's rare for a company to burst on the scene with an endless stream of excellent products. Normally they have one great idea, form a company and then, like a rock band, have the sophomore slump of trying to follow it up.

Roccat Kone XTD review

Roccat refines its range-topping mouse, but the high price holds it back

Roccat Kone

The Kone has earned itself a spot among our favourite gaming mice, Roccat proving it's got what it takes. Recommended.

Highly customisable; Comfortable; TCU may give you a slight edge

Right handers only; Electronics on the customisable weights is a waste; Advanced macro editor broken

Good but not enough

I recommend to use hard mouse pad like Roccat Sota, SteelSeries 4HD/9HD, and any other hard mouse pad.

This mouse is comfortable with my middle size hand; The DPI is enough for gaming; I don't need to use windows mouse acceleration

My cursor will go to the edge of my screen when I circling around the screen; Don't use cloth mouse pads

First off, I have to state that I was one of the unlucky to get an early run version of the mouse. The initial batch of mice had an issue with the middle scroll click breaking due to poor engineering. From what I understand, they have fixed the issue and are replacing any broken units.

Roccat Kone Gaming Mouse

If you're in the market for a new gaming mouse, keep the Roccat Kone in mind.

Packaging and mouse look great; software is full of useful features; TCU is intuitive

Expensive; driver can be annoying to install
