Razer is a company that specializes in gaming peripherals and gear. Today, I will be reviewing a recent purchase of mine, the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Mechanical Gaming Keyboard 2013 (T1).

Sleek; Ergonomic Design; Responsive; Aesthetically good looking and Convenient

Quite Expensive; Sensitive (To people who haven't use a mechanical keyboard before)

It's actually not as loud as most people make it to be, which is definitely a plus if you're not living alone, or if you're a college student like me.

It came in the mail today with pretty decent packaging as it was protected not only with typical bubble wrap; but also a layer of pocketed air to absorb any impact from transit.

Nah, other than given that it is a 2 year old model; - Most people (myself included) do not care about this so don't let this turn you away from the product

I bought this keyboard 2 years ago when i lived at home, and it served well for all types of uses. I used it for gaming, programming, and even school work, like writing papers. I loved it so much that I bought another one for my new place!

RGB is kind of not my thing, but Razer lets you put in a static color or no RGB at all, and even let you use other fancy colored and RGB options. It's so nice.

Coming from Corsair products to this, immediately the Razer product had a much more smooth feel to it, the LED customisation is incredible. Using the Razer Synapse you install upon purchase you can change the Lighting to 8 amazing pre-set ones and you can customise your own!

I have to admit being a little hesitant about buying another Razer product after a mouse of theirs lasted less than a week. That said this keyboard was something I liked the look of and after destroying my old MadKatz with a glass of wine I took the plunge.

Really amazing keyboard. I'm really happy with it and would recommend it to all the gamers that like flashy stuff.

The keyboard feels great and it's perfect for playing MMORPGs; I use it sometimes for work and it feels very nice

The only downside is the noise it makes (mechanical keyboard); When my girlfriend is sleeping and I want to play, I have to change to a normal keyboard or the noise would bother her

I really love the way this keyboard feels. The 'mem-chanical' switches provide an excellent balance between feedback, travel distance, and speed. I haven't tried gaming with it yet, but I type a lot, and this is amazing to write with. The included wrist rest is also very, very comfortable.

i needed a keyboard for my laptop that lights up so i can type/work in the dark, and this does that with 7 different color options. i also like the clickey-type keyboard. works very well and i enjoy using it
