Razer Blade Stealth 13 (late 2019) Review

The Razer Blade Stealth 13 is a superb Ultrabook with gaming flair, fulfilling the "work hard, play hard" philosophy better than any other system. But given its steep price, it should only be considered if you’re happy sacrificing gaming performance for that ultraportable design.

More powerful than rival ultrabook laptops; Lack of dedicated GPU improves battery efficiency; Stylish design; Stunningly bright display;

Underwhelming gaming performance ; Pricer than rival ultrabooks ; Large bottom bezel looks outdated;

Razer Blade Stealth 13 (late 2020) review

The latest Razer Blade Stealth 13 offers impressive mainstream gaming power inside a light, slim and sturdy case with a top-notch 1080p screen. However, the price along with a few caveats might make you look elsewhere.

Solid gaming pace; Sturdy, lightweight design; Great 120Hz display;

Intel CPU beaten by AMD; Disappointing keyboard; Expensive;

Razer Blade Stealth (2019) review: One of the nicest laptops I can't afford

The thing you always have to keep in mind about gaming laptops, is that they’re only ever really compact by comparison - and doubly so in comparison to gaming desktops or by the bulkier gaming machines of the pre-Max-Q era.

It doesn’t come cheap but, assuming you can afford it, you’re going to get a lot out of the Razer Blade Stealth.

Incredibly nice design; Solid specs;

Really expensive; No SD card slots;

2020 Razer Blade Stealth GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q Laptop Review: Like the 2019 Version, But Done Right

Ultrabook powerhouse. After fumbling with the 2019 options, the 2020 Blade Stealth is what the 2019 version should have been especially in regards to the Ice Lake processor. The graphics potential is insane considering the small 13.3-inch chassis.

We didn't particularly like either of the 2019 options in terms of performance, but the 2020 version...

very high performance-per-volume; quiet during low processing loads; 2x USB Type-C (1x Thunderbolt); good processor performance; bright 4K UHD touchscreen; rigid metal chassis design; upgradeable M.2 SSD; RGB backlit keys; large clickpad; USB Type-A; IR camera;

slightly heavier than most Ultrabooks; full AdobeRGB coverage not available; noticeable ghosting when gaming; very warm surface temperatures; no Comet Lake-U or Ryzen; louder fans when gaming; shallow keyboard keys; non-upgradeable RAM; no fingerprint reader; thick bottom bezel; soft clickpad keys; no G-Sync; no HDMI;

Razer Blade Stealth 2020, i7-1065G7, GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q

Model: Stealth definitely flaunts a simplistic look that would never appear to be out of place, even in an office setting. The device looks rather modern, even though the razor-thin bezel that surrounds the screen does not reach the bottom of the panel. Another change to the design front that has been carried through can be found on the keyboard. The company has definitely widened the size of the right-sided Shift key compared to the 2019 version. However, due to this shift, the ‘up’ and ‘down’ arrow keys have been squashed down in size. In terms of its connectivity, the Stealth 2020 has been equipped with a Thunderbolt 3 port, USB Type-A and a headphone jack. The latter is definitely great news for wired headphone users. As far as the performance is concerned, the Razer Blade Stealth 2020 has been equipped with an Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor along with the new GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q GPU. While this certainly is not one of the most powerful mobile GPUs on the market, it appears to offer ...
