Safari for women: Every time I wear this fragrance, I get compliments. It, apparently, is my scent. A lovely blend of citrus, and stronger aromas for day or evening.

My mother got a gift set of Safari and didn't want the Climate Response cream, so she gave it to me. This stuff was awesome, it went on creamy and quickly dried to a powdery finish, and it smelled sooo good.

I purchased Safari by Ralph Lauren for my partner whilst in the States where it cost $60 for a 2.5oz bottle of eau de parfum. I understand it is now difficult to source in this country though some online perfumery outlets are still possibly selling at the cost of ￡53 for this size.

I was one of their models when it launched and it has been one of my must have since then , it was discontinued because of the cost of making the bottle , but thanks to ebay I always have it on hand , is a beautiful , different fragrance.

Agree with sorceress of the dark's review below. Safari to me reads as a green chypre, slightly classic style, but with a dark undercurrent of bitterness from vetiver. Could easily be unisex.

Ralph Lauren Safari , composed by Dominique Ropion, was released in 1990, but feels to me like an ‘80s scent (cusp years cling more tightly to the previous decade than the following, I've found).

These days I discovered the bottle deep in the back of my perfume drawer. This wonderful crystal bottle, even with the rest of the eau de parfum. I had completely forgotten him, now triggered by my recent activities at Parfumo my drawer browsed and found him again The perfume was a surprise present...

Safari, is one of my favourites, his Blue is the other, they are the Best ! I have been looking for Safari for awhile ,So now that I have it , It's wonderful

Going to doctor visits, isn't too overwhelming for people around me. And always get compliments. This about my 4th bottle. I wear other perfumes for different places and different events.

This is my favourite eau de parfum: timeless, sensual, for all occasions but persistent. It was discontinued maybe 10 years ago but I am so pleased it came back, especially at such a good price at Escentual. Maybe not a light perfume but I have a lot of compliments about it.
