I was so happy when I bought these, as I have hearing problems & also live in a quiet location, good not to annoy the neighbours late at night! After a few weeks the right side stopped working, then the left side started playing up, coming on & off as I moved, then the cord developed a split in it...

I have to edit this review to write a short one. These cans sound good for the price, decent bass and overall decent presentation, with nasaly mids and lack of detail. But break very fast. Had to take ratings down.

GP headphone being closed, it's not true at all, means all the sounds around, and people around also hear the sound of the headphones. Isolation: 0 However, the sound is very correct, very good bass but the treble is not top, but it is far better than a pair of earphones.

mine are philips shp 2500/97and i got them NEW for around 25 bucks, if you google...

cheap price; semi decent sound for 25 bucks

Well, it was a worthy purchase for me to watch movies in my bedroom without having to disturb my wife's sleep. 6 meters long cable gives the comfort of not leaving your bed. sound clarity is great but volume is not sufficient on it.

Phillips SHP2500 headphones are of good quality, reasonably priced, are comfortable for a long time. The audio quality is quite good for amateur radio use. The price / quality ratio is very high. Absolutely recommended.
