I brought this product about just over a month ago and the colurs from it just adds brilliant results to our room. Even the wife is impressed. Bit pricey though.

The Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box makes a great addition to any home cinema setup, flashing coloured lights to match the on-screen action. It's the inclusion of the Gradient lightstrip that really brings the system to life.
Gradient boosts the HDMI Sync Box's capabilities; Easy to set up; Works smoothly and quickly
Expensive; Only HDMI 2.0 ports
Both the required devices to go with this cost almost double what the strip cost, the work around app that should mean you don’t need the sync box doesn’t work when showing Netflix or Amazon Prime, hence the strip doesnt work at all for us as that’s how we watch movies. I also can’t see how the hellishly expensive sync box can be factored into a home entertainment system, ie: using an amp for the TV sound. I wouldn’t recommend this unless you have a bridge and sync box already and don’t use Netflix.
