There aren't many monitors around with the same blend of features offered by the Philips 328P6AUBREB and with HDR, a colour-accurate QHD panel and a stunning build quality, the Philips 328P6AUBREB is a top-quality monitor.
Incredible colour accuracy; HDR 10 compatibility; USB-C port for laptops
Poor brightness uniformity; Below-par sRGB gamut coverage (in sRGB mode; HDR 10 over HDMI-only
The USB Type C connection seems like the jack of all trades, with enough bandwidth available for a 4K screen, and enough power to drive a reasonably sized one too. But USB-C doesn't transfer enough power for a large screen, so the connection hasn't found favour with desktop monitors.
Great colour accuracy; becoming excellent when calibrated; USB-C ports provides video; audio and keyboard/mouse through one cable; USB-C charging with compatible devices; Large 31.5in screen; Reasonable price; Lots of physical adjustment options; Good range of of inputs; Useful range of OSD presets
Poor brightness uniformity; 60Hz refresh and 4ms response make it a poor choice for gamers; Only two USB ports; both round the back
Upgraded from an older LG 32" 4k monitor... this thing is waaay better picture quality - super bright. Blue light filter modes also very handy. Good value for the price compared to the HDR versions from LG. This also comes with a USBC-USBC cable as well - wasn't sure if it was in the box or not but saves you another $50. (also comes with every other cable you can think of. HDMI, DP, USBC-USBA cable as well.
This is not a technical review - just a feel good one! This is a beautiful monitor for my situation. Clear, UHD, quick response. I am not a gamer but for my office situation dual 32" 4k monitors - easy on the eye - very happy. PB Tech and their couriers delivered next day to Kerikeri!!!! Great service.
For the price - this is an excellent monitor. It looks very "corporate" or even early 2000's but it's very solid. You cant find a monitor of this quality, with Ethernet and USB hub all in one for this price. When factoring this in its easy a cost saver. I currently use this with my Macbook Pro (2019) with Web Camera (USB), Mic (USB) and ethernet while over USB-C. No problems. The laptop is powered via USB-C so my whole setup has one cable which plugs in and out and is very minimal.
Had this for 2 years and it was the cheapest 4k monitor I could fine at the time with good Lightroom editing colors, i also use it for gaming. Pro: Good color spectrum, blue light filter built in , uhd 4k 32s inch, fast charging usb-c for phones, and monitor for phone docking. Con: Bulky edges, not a gaming monitor but still better than average 1080p and budget 4k but still can be expensive for some
