Our recently bought Panasonic TH-55GZ1000U OLED TV from JBHIFI does not provide the quality sound to go with the extremely gorgeous picture quality, so we decided to invest in a soundbar from Panasonic. The sound is certainly great coming from the soundbar. Voices are now very distinct and easy to hear and depth of tone is impressive. We lack the experience of surround sound because our couch is probably too far away from it. No where in manual, brochure is it explained how far the bar should be from listing position to enjoy surround sound Quite surprised that the manual says using the HDMI connection between the bar and TV via the ARC terminals (Audio Return Channel) will then avoid the necessity of using a optical digital audio cable, but sound coming from TV did not activate the subwoofer. After a lengthy web search we found the answer is that sound through ARC does not always support a subwoofer. So we ended up buying/using a optical digital audio cable in addition to the

Bought a 2 months ago. Absolutely crystal clear sound with heavy Deep sub .. loved it.

The sound quality is awesome but the sound bar not picking up the USB with fat32 format. (As it's recommended) to upgrade the Firmware. And there is no other way to upgrade the Firmware.

Great sound, so happy I purchased this, now I can listen to all the great music DVDs that we have!

Though not the most spectacular sound I am quite happy with this simple and effective soundbar.
