Great picture. Good recording Plays Blu Ray. Catch up TV great

I was informed at time of purchase that it would play ALL DVD,S, but upon returning to your store to ask why it wont play all DVD,S WE WERE INFORMED RE THE DIFFERENT CODES, Had we been informed of this prior to purchase we could have bought something cheaper .We were informed by one of your staff we could have bought a DVD player for $99 which would play blue ray and ALL other codes, as it is we paid almost eight times as much for a product that does not do what we were told it would.TO SAY I FEEL RIPPED OFF IS PUTTING IT VERY MILDLY.

Smart tv apps are useless and so so slow. No youtube app on the most expensive pvr i replaced my old Samsung which i put in the spare room but put it back for the old samsung is much faster with an abundance of apps on the system.

I have installed it very quickly and the first thing it did, was to update it’s software. The unit comes region locked to region 4. This is an import restriction by Australia not a problem with the unit. It would be good if it came region free because Australia is a multinational country and they would have DVD’s from their home countries as do I. Blue ray region is Ok for me as it looks like the EU is the same as region 2 for DVD’s. We need government support to be able import region free DVD players.

I have two of these and as always Panasonic's 4k players are outstanding. This is even better having the 2tb hdd in for recording too
