Oppo Find X2 Neo (256GB, Black) Australian Stock - Refurbished (Excellent) review

I still don't quite understand the Find X2 Neo even after a few days of use. This is because Oppo's "mid-range upper class smartphone" is full of contradictions. Important features such as WiFi 6 or IP certification are missing from the handset, and these are features that can be found in many...

Great AMOLED display running at 90 Hertz, Good performance including 5G, Decent loudspeaker performance, Simple design, Fast charging function with SuperVOOC, Good camera performance with decent stabilisation

No IP (waterproof) certification, No WiFi 6 support, No wireless charging support, Poor camera performance in poor lighting conditions, Weak haptic feedback

Oppo Find X2 Neo (256GB, Black) Australian Stock - Refurbished (Excellent) review

bright 90 Hz OLED panel, 12 GB RAM/256 GB UFS storage, stereo speakers, high-quality housing...

...with a sharp-edged frame, only single SIM/no SD card slot, no UFS 3.0, underperforming (for the price range), USB 2.0, wide angle camera, no Wi-Fi 6, wireless charging, IP rating,, no e-SIM, no 4K with 60 FPS

Oppo Find X2 Neo Review

The Oppo Find X2 Neo is a well balanced phone with a pleasingly skinny form factor and an excellent 90Hz display. It’s a thoroughly decent and dependable mid-range effort, though you can get better performance and software for a similar price from the OnePlus 8.

Super svelte form factor; Lovely 90Hz AMOLED display; Strong battery life; Stacks of memory;

ColorOS isn’t the best take on Android; The OnePlus 8 ticks most of the same boxes plus more;

Oppo Find X2 NEO (256GB, Black) - Excellent review

The Apple iPhone 14 is no match for the just-released iPhone 14 Pro, but if you ignore that, it’s one of the most effective phones around.

Great cameras, front and back, Fast performance, Good battery life, Innovative safety features

Design too familiar, Some average features

Oppo Find X2 NEO (256GB, Black) - Excellent review

“The iPhone 14 isn't a huge upgrade compared to its predecessor. But with a great design, screen, performance, and cameras, that's far from a bad thing at all.”

Comfortable, high-end build, OLED screen looks fantastic, A15 chip performs great, Good camera upgrades, Dependable battery life, Helpful safety features

60Hz display, No telephoto camera, eSIM might be a pain for some

Oppo Find X2 NEO (256GB, Black) - Excellent review

The iPhone 14 isn’t much of an upgrade over the iPhone 13, but it’s still a great device and an upgrade for anyone coming from the iPhone 11 or older.

Great camera, Good battery, Emergency features are cool, Still excellent performance

Display could use some upgrades

Oppo Find X2 Neo review: Class Act

Oppo’s Find X2 Neo abandons the more unique design choices found in its flagship counterpart and opts for a more conservative camera. If those are compromises you’re willing to make, there’s an exceptionally strong case to be made here.

Like the best Oppo devices, the Find X2 Neo feels like a bargain. And, at $999, it kinda is.

Great battery life; Slim form-factor;

No wireless charging; No headphone jack or MicroSD slot;

Oppo Find X2 Neo review

The Oppo Find X2 Neo has a charming in-hand feel, versatile cameras, great speakers, and a screen worth bragging about. With its competition offering more raw power at a lower price however, it falls just short of being ideal for everyone.

Excellent, smooth screen; Strong speaker performance; Versatile, reliable cameras;

Rear is a fingerprint magnet; Rivals offer more power for the same price; No 3.5mm audio jack

Oppo Find X2 Neo review

One of the world's thinnest 5G phones, you'd be forgiven for mistaking the Find X2 Neo for a fully-fledged flagship; with a stunning display, versatile cameras, great fast-charging and more. Considering what else is out there, it's a little on the pricey side, but if it's a thin, stylish design you're after the Neo should serve you well for a long time.

Beautiful, thin design; Decent performance; Great fast charging;

ColorOS still has issues; Expensive;
