Does exactly as described. Quieter than most portable air conditioners. Helps block out the noise from busy road. Keeps my room so cool.

I LIKE THE 3.5kw portable conditioner best

Very noisy. Heavy to move especially over carpet and up stair cases. Requires a large bucket next to the unit for the condensation out flow hose from the back, there's also a worry about the bucket over flowing. Instructions are extremely hard to understand and I cant follow as the booklet as its written for a different similar model. The remote control is useless and doesn't connect or work at all. I'm sorry I bought it and wasted my money. Guests cant use it and cant sleep in the same room as the unit is large and combined with a bucket on the floor is is a large obstacle in the walkway in the bedroom. My son and daughter on holidays with us have moved out of this bedroom as they can't sleep with the noise of the air conditioner keeping them awake! My fault for not asking the sales consultant enough questions and I bought the most expensive unit to ensure quality and performance and I am now realise that I'm stupid when it comes to purchasing home equipment or furniture! Very disappo...

The unit is quiet enough for might time use. It does produce a large amount of water. I would recommend a 20lt container to collect water.
