Fit my camera but didn't work. Was disappointed and will have to send back
bought this for an indoor property shoot, and despite the plastic feel of the lens the outcome is fantastic, very crisp sharp images.
The Nikon AF-P DX Nikkor 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR has a some big things going for it: an ultra-wide field of view to capture huge swaths of landscape, sharp optics, a featherweight build, optical stabilization, and a very attractive price. But there's some bad with the good.
Light and compact; Covers very wide angle of view; Quite sharp; Optical stabilization; Inexpensive
Soft edges at 10mm; Noticeable barrel distortion; Dimmed corners; Some chromatic aberration; Narrow aperture; Plastic lens mount
+ Very small and lightweight; + Effective image stabilization; + Fast; silent autofocus
Poor corner detail at most settings; Limited camera back-compatibility; No physical AF or VR switches
At just $309.95, the AF-P DX Nikkor 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR is one of the least expensive lenses you can get for a Nikon SLR. It also covers one of the widest angles for APS-C (DX) models, making it a solid option for landscapes, travel, and shooting in tight spaces. To meet its price it does make some compromises, capturing photos with distinct barrel distortion and omitting the fluorine coat we're used to seeing in more premium lenses. If improved fit and finish, and a wider aperture are important, consider the Tamron 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 Di VC HLD as an alternative. Design The 10-20mm ($306.95 at Amazon) measures just 2.8 by 3.0 inches (HD), weighs 8.2 ounces, and supports 72mm front filters. Like the slightly bigger (and pricier) Nikkor 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G ED (3.4 by 3.3 inches, 1 pound), its image circle covers an APS-C sensor, a format Nikon refers to as DX. The sm...
The Nikon AF-P DX Nikkor 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR lens is ultra-wide, easy to carry, sharp, and very affordable, but it does have some shortcomings.

This review is from a photographers point of view. We are very picky, 5 stars would be very hard to get. First let me say that for the price this is absolutely worth the money! It's a good lens that you can work with to take fantastic pictures. By design though, it is limited.
The AF-P DX Nikkor 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR lens is a highly affordable ultrawide-to-wide zoom compatible with Nikon's recent line-up of APS-C digital SLR cameras. The lens offers 3.5 stops of Vibration Reduction (VR) performance to help capture sharp images while hand-held or in challenging light.
