My D90 bit the dust after ten years and the repair cost was the same as purchasing the D5300 (body only). I did not want to spend the amount needed to purchase a body that was in the same "category" as the D90 was.

Though the D5300 is still a great camera, it probably makes sense to spend extra on the newer D5600

Even though this is an older model entry level DSLR, it is more than capable of providing quality pictures and video, especially for beginners who are barely started

they didn't send me what is specified in the product description. first it says is a new product, they send a opened camera and used. then it says that the camera comes with 2 lens, they just send me the 18-55mm lens in the openes camera box and no the 70-30mm lens.

Lovely camera with great features. Good for all abilities with point and click facility and technical facilities if you feel able. Love it. Great photos. The WiFi function is really good to send your photos to social media

Still learning the ropes to fully utilise the potential of this beauty.. but all i can say is that the iitial results are absuolutely fantastic.. cannot wait until this one helps me cature some magical moments..

Best camera I've ever used, followed by the D3300, I loved it. It makes great shots, has good settings, sensor cleaning could be a little more effective, but it does not change the fact that it's good.

This is a great camera for a novice like me . I use the auto mode a lot whilst learning all the other settings this camera has. Sadly has no internal memory so mind your memory card. Would gladly give this 5 stars and highly recommend.
