Have been using these for about a year now and love them. The only down side to them is their flimsy lens caps which I replaced using Butler Creek brand scope caps. (Product # 34OBJ).

I tried many 8x40 and went for the Nikon, because they were very good optically and I know the brand well (used their cameras for ages) just this size is a bit bulky, but the optics are well worth the compromise. Very nice.

Very pleased with all aspects of my purchase. 4 star rating only because i need to return item because of a small defect with the eye cup and the way it operated. My wife and I wear glasses and the binoculars did not function the way they were designed with a faulty sense cup.

The quality that you would expect from Nikon, excellent visibility and ease of adjustment. They are not the slip in the pocket type of binoculars, but if you want a solid product which lets in plenty of light with pin sharp results, it will be difficult to do better than the Nikon Action EX 8x40.

The EX Action series produced by the reputable Nikon company consists of mid-range pairs of binoculars with the following parameters: 7x35, 8x40, 7x50, 10x50, 12x50, 16x50 , 7-15x35 and 10-22x50. All Action EX binoculars come with BaK-4 glass Porro prisms.

Very happy with the binocs. Thay have good size, easy focus, large viewing area, comfortable outer soft covering making them exceptional for the price. We use them primarily for birding.

This was an outstanding EBAY buy. I needed these for aging and scoring live deer and for archery practice. I wanted decent quality but did not want to spend a great deal of money. This was the perfect sale. I use EBAY weekly to purchase sporting items and household items as well as some clothing.

Excellent producut, last forever. Extremely durable. From camping to concerts - I've used them in a variety of places and it's served its purpose.
