Solid Switch
This is a tough switch. Our company's gear goes through hell during transport but this little guy can take the abuse... and then some!
Pros:
- Solid, robust construction
- And fast too! Never had so much as a hiccup from this switch
- I use it to run Cobranet between my PC and my company's line array PA system
- It sits on top of 2 stacked subwoofers pounding at high SPL's and works/looks just as it did out of the box

Better than the rest
I was looking for a Gigabit switch than can definitely push the whole bandwidth through. This cutie's internal circuit is much faster than Gigabit so if you have several Gigabit devices connected to it, it should still be able to give max. throughput without issues.

8 port great
I needed another small gigabit switch for the network and this fit the bill perfectly netgear has a very good warranty they have taken care of my problems with any of their equipment in the past. I am happy with this 8 port gigbit switch especially for the price

Nice size and also the light indicate clearly what speed easy to connect and work right away. if you need one it is a good one.

Excellent fast & cheap used switch. Commercial quality metal case, desktop or easy to hang on wall w screw slots provided.

Works as expected
I purchase NetGear for all my networking components. While I've had issues with various components from NetGear, their switches have never failed me. I have only used it for about 1 month but I suspect it will perform as the other NetGear switches I have.

Replacement for a failing Netgear GS105 Much cooler With sale , cheaper than the 5 port model Wall wart smaller than the GS105 Does what a switch does I prefer ports on front

Does its job
This is a nice unit that does all it suppose to. I chose the gigabit to pass on the higher speeds, so decide for you what is best. With so may devices going to the Internet, this helps spread it to the entire house and other access points (routers).

Good quality product
I've purchased a number of these for use in the Home. Simple installation makes for a quick solution to WiFi loss of signal. I've used these directly from the router and also at the end of a power line extender.
