Very star wars ship looking. Quite neat. Has a built in cooling fan. Mobile app setup is super simple and quick. The 2.4g runs easily outside the walls of the house. 5g band still covers all interior space even with router not centrally located.

Failed after few days. Purchased February 2019. Raised a customer support request but that ticket remains outstanding after almost 2 months; Netgear obviously do not read requests for support through the app or online.

The Netgear NightHawk AX8 RAX80 is worth considering if you're adamant about future-proofing your home network . It performs admirably, and its file-transfer performance is stellar. That said, it's more expensive than the Asus RT-AX88U, and it doesn't offer as many features.
