Bought this product a month ago. Have already had one camera go bad (pink hue), and battery life is not as expected. Software is a bit confusing to set up (particularly the scheduling feature), and it seems there should be more individual options to be able to be set PER CAMERA, not for all of them...

Terrible product. Cameras simply stop working for no reason, requiring frequent rebooting. Have to climb on ladder to retrieve cameras to reboot them, only to have to reboot them again next time they stop working. Video quality is terrible.

Absolute pure junk... Never, ever buy this product... You will forever regret it... One camera failed right after the refund policy expired on Amazon... Botched customer service at netgear kept me on the phone for 8 hours waiting on the cue...

The Arlo Pro has several very strong selling points. The completely wire-free design allows you to place them wherever you want and the battery life is amazing. The weather-resistance and cold tolerance makes it a viable product in colder areas like my abode in Minnesota.

So I have mixed feelings on this product. The picture is incredible and the live function to see the cameras current area is great. My system for some reason is highly delayed. I setup the camera and the motion sensor mails me 15 -20 minutes later that motion is detected.

Very easy to set up and use. Great battery life., weatherproof. Not the greatest image quality, but it works well enough.

NETGEAR introduced the Arlo Pro in October 2016 and it quickly gained in popularity and joined the discussion for best smart home security camera. And I must agree, the Arlo Pro is awesome and it definitely does belong in that discussion but it does have a couple downsides you should be aware of.
