Nacon Revolution Unlimited Pro Controller review

Truly ergonomic; Plentiful customization options; High-quality build;

Button mapping not obvious; Can't amend profiles on PS4

Overpriced and low value

It’s not a bad feeling controller. Nice weight and build quality feels great. If however you’ve always used a ps4 controller then this is difficult to adjust too. The extra buttons on the back of controller are tricky to use in quick reaction gun fights and the mapping of the toggles is a bit of a let down given it’s a response curve adjustment only which most games offer now anyway. The ability to change all controller buttons to whatever you like is a handy feature but not a game breaker given the price. At the end of the day it’s a nice controller but not worth anywhere near the money it costs.. stick with a ps4 controller and some kontrol freaks.. you’ll be much better off

Good feel and weight to the controller

Bought this for the remapping features. Ended up not using them, to remap you have to connect the controller to a PC / MAC. The extra buttons are also in an inconvenient place underneath which are weird to hit. Another drawback is that you can’t turn on the console with the power button on controller like every other controller..... However the weighting, balance and shape of the controller is great. It’s loads better than the Sony controller. The buttons and the sticks have a nice feel to them. That you can lift the sticks higher if you have bigger paws helps and means you don’t need to claw the controller. Worth it still with the drawbacks and I’d still buy it again. This is the default controller in the house since it arrived.

It works!

I bought this controller to play games with my grandson. It seemed a little expensive, I'm not sure how his mother affords all of this stuff. Worked with the playstation, I was able to play games with my grandson and even pwn some n00bs. The standout feature of this product was that it has some buttons. I really like having access to buttons when I play playstation with my grandson, and this controller definitely has some buttons. Not too many mind you, but a few of them. It also comes with 2 joysticks. Not 1, but 2 of them and if that's not value for money then I'll eat my hat. It did weigh a little bit, but I found out it has these little bits of metal in the bottom you can take out, so we did that and it was much better. Triggers are fine, I have a bit of the old arthritis in my fingers and had no trouble with them. Overall, it was a controller and it let me play games with my grandson so I am happy. Oh the fun we had playing games together, pwning n00bs and such, it was

This is the best hands down!

Is amazing how this controller sit me in your hand. Ergonomics are at the top. The build is solid and the shortcuts button are place very well easy to touch. The fact that you can add some weight to the controller is a plus and adjust the joystick with rings aswell. Very happy overall I’ll give 9/10 just because I cannot turn on the PS4 with the controller but no big deal

everything but the trigger (R2L2)

This is the best elite controller you can get in Australia so far. Everything works fine. The only problem is the R2 and L2. They are so hard. You have to use a lot strength to push it. After using the controller for a while. You hands will be so tired. Especially the fingers to hold the trigger. If you are confident with you finger strength, go buy it. Or you will return it like me did.
