This cordless vacuum cleaners is head and shoulders above the competition. Just the basic concept of switching on rather than having to continually hold down the control is a game changer. Add the incredible light which sees the tiniest bits of sand or dust which escape the eye. A quiet operation with larger head covers way more ground with less effort. Granted it is a bit heavy at 4kg but not an issue when you consider its brilliant performance. Love the extra battery which allows proper cleaning of our large two storey, 4 bedroom, study, separate formal and informal living areas plus large games room, home. Only negative as others have noted is having to empty the dust container a couple of times each long use. Not a huge problem and is easy enough to do. Love this German made quality vacuum cleaner - makes an otherwise tedious task almost a pleasure! Well worth the money.

Light and adaptable for surfaces.

I love my Miele cordless vacuum! It is so easy to use , efficient and so much better on my back! I am seriously thinking of investing in another unit so I have one upstairs and one downstairs.

Fantastic suction, great battery life, easy of use.

Bought this 3 weeks ago and it is a great little machine - awesome suck power and it picks up everything on the floor. Its reasonably lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. Love that it is cordless. Downside is that that emptying is a bit of a faff - not as easy as I would have expected and always seem to get dust on myself and the floor by the bin. And because it picks up so much you are emptying a lot! Finally, not sure if we have a problem or not but the charger lights are no longer working when we charge the battery. Will see if it still charges and if not, back to the shop it will go. I would recommend it but not as wholeheartedly as I expected to given it is a Miele.

I bought this vaccum around 5 months ago and was very impressed with the versatility and design of this Vaccum. I originally intended to buy another Dyson Stick Vac but was pursuaded to purchase the Miele instead. I should have stuck to the original plan. I noticed straight away this vaccum did not have nearly as much suction as my Dyson. The small container needs emptying more frequently and due to various bends in the hose it blocks very easily . The light on the front of the head is a great feature but it flickers on and off as it cleans. As i have a cat i was hoping it would be great to clean cat hair off my furniture but no such luck. After 5 months the suction has depleted even more. I have now resorted to using my old Dyson stick Vac which at 8 years old is still a better performer than the New Miele.

We are so happy with our Miele Triflex HX1 pro Vaccum cleaner. With two toddlers running around making non stop mess, we now have a chance of keeping on top of it. The Miele handstick is so easy to use, does a fantastic job of getting every litle bit of seen and unseen mess up out of the carpet and off the floorboards, and looks good while doing so. We like adition of the light and the fact that it stands up when not in use. We have never run put of battery but love having a spare one there in case we do. There have been fights over whose turn it is to vacuum now (which has never happened before) even our 2 and 3 year olds love having a go. Its been pretty life changing for our wee whanau and well worth the investment.

I love Miele, and have generally always purchased their products. I was thinking this vacuum would be amazing - no more cord et cetera. For a stick vacuum I am sure it is up there with the best, but I still find a corded vacuum cleaner sucks more powerfully. Empying the container was arduous and in hindsight, I would be happy purchasing vacuum cleaner bags and not having to empty and get dust on me and the floor. Yes, it is light weight, especially if the engine is nearing the ground, but it is a little tiring nonetheless. A corded vacuum cleaner rolls on the ground and you are only holding/lifting the hose and attachment. In hindsight, I would have purchased a corded vacuum cleaner with bags. Maybe I am old fashioned; maybe I need to give it some time?

Great battery life amazing power. This vacume is our first investment in a cordless stick vac and we couldn’t be happier with quality. Can completely retire our old vacume cleaner because this one is so powerful.
