Xbox One S

Xbox One S is the pinnacle of what Microsoft set out to create with the original Xbox One. Despite releasing nearly three years ago, the One S is everything a game console should be: sleek, powerful and well-stocked.

Vastly reduced physical footprint; 4K & HDR streaming; HDR gaming; Xbox platform is steadily improving

Needs adapter for Kinect; 4K gaming limited to upscaling

Xbox One S review: smaller, better, whiter

Welcome to T3's official Xbox One S review. Microsoft has taken all the things that makes the Xbox One great, and made it even better. The result is a smaller form factor that's quieter and powered by powerful new features such as HDR.

4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player; Slicker and slimmer console

Only 1.6TB of 2TB HDD usable

Microsoft Xbox One S Review – Worth The Wait

After a long wait, the Microsoft Xbox One S has finally arrived in our sunny island. When the Xbox One launched, our (and many gamers) first impressions weren't great. It was bulky, needed an external power adapter, and looked worse for wear than its predecessor – the Xbox 360.

Xbox One S Review

I've been using the Xbox One S for a while now, and it's become clear that Microsoft has a winner on its hands. Not just because the device is better than its predecessor – and less expensive.

Reasonably sized - far smaller than Xbox One; Controller further perfected over Xbox One; Plays all Xbox One games; 4K video output; Ultra HD gaming upscaling

True 4K gaming isn't quite here yet; Kinect needs adapter to connect; Not a replacement for Xbox One (that'll come next year

Xbox One S Review: More for Your Money

Microsoft began letting early adopters take their first version of the Xbox One home one cold November night three years ago. Now the company is back with the Xbox One S, a redesigned evolution of that first console.

Xbox One S Impressions

I can't really score the Xbox One S because of the short time I had with it, but from initial impressions it will definitely support your 4K (HDR) enabled screen a lot better than your standard Xbox One would. Especially if you are into your movie content, be it Netflix or via the Ultra-HD player.

Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Limited Edition Review

While the Xbox One S is an amazing console, it just doesn't have a place, as it's such an incremental improvement. You should probably wait for Scorpio to get bigger changes.

2TB Gears of War 4 Xbox One S Limited Edition Bundle Review – The Best Xbox Around, For Now

Reviewing the 2TB Gears of War 4 Xbox One S Limited Edition console is not an easy task. I mean what do you compare it to It's obviously better than the original Xbox One based on specs alone.

Stunning design; The definitive Gears package; Runs like a dream; Decent value for the buck

Doesn't include Elite controller; You should be a Gears fan; Good luck getting this in December

Xbox One S

As tempting as the price may be, this ‘4K console' just doesn't deliver So how does the Xbox One S stack up as a sequel Well, it feels a little like we've been here before. The cast might have improved but there are still a few gaping holes in the script.

Price; Controller works well; Rich colours; Decent detail with 4K content

4K HDR images lack subtlety; Lean sound; Can't pass-through 4K video; incompatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X; Unintuitive menus

Pleanty of space. Little pricie still.

Since we have a lot of 360 games and waited for this to up grade, yes we would re buy. Not sure any of these consoles are up to best expectations. With dedicated processor and huge storage we were expecting more from games on 4 G ultra tv.

Slick size, quick set up, intuitive, plays blue rays, has cortana; Most games now play off unit

Pricie; Slug at down loads; Not a lot of high definition 4G valued games yet; Comes with one controller
