Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse
I think this mouse is a great addition for a mobile or desktop user. It is compact, and small enough to be easily placed in a laptop bag, but the mouse is still full size for every-day desktop use. The design alone is worth the investment, I think.

Any consumer tech company worth its salt knows that it's all about touch-operation nowadays and that's why Apple unveiled its Magic Trackpad back in the summer of 2010 and Microsoft announced its Arc Touch Mouse not long afterwards, following a series of hints and internet leaks.

With this mouse, Microsoft proved that its designers could rival Apple with a unique, stylish product that is sturdy as well as simple and functional. Although USD 70 is a little pricey for a mouse, it is perfect for traveling and can easily be used as an everyday mouse.
