Neowin got a chance to play with Microsoft's LifeCam Studio, the company's first 1080p capable LifeCam. This little camera comes loaded with a ton of features including a 1080p sensor, auto focus and also TrueColor & ClearFrame technology which results in smooth video recording.

The common-or-garden webcam has fallen into the same bracket as keyboards and mice for most PC users: as long as it works, the cheapest one will do. That makes Microsoft's £47 inc VAT LifeCam Studio quite the difficult sell.

Works OK, won't stop trying to make everything on your PC use it's mic. Video quality is OK (Logitech C920 is way better) on Skype etc. White balance is way off as well. All around an OK web cam.
