The Microsoft LifeCam LifeCam HD-3000 is an affordable upgrade from an old VGA cam or low-quality laptop webcam. However, if you want the best features possible in a webcam, keep shopping.

Very impressed with the quality of both the sound and the picture, particularly as the price of this is extremely reasonable. Now able to skype my son at university, so I am very happy!

Just bought it to do some streaming and it works fine

IT support is part of my daily job and I'm finding this webcam install difficult. Plug and play in Windows 10. Microphone component works flawlessly. Video is a pain. Microsoft support merely says "no extra drivers required for Win8 and above".

Super easy-- just plug in and use. Clear, crisp quality in the default Windows camera app (which I used to determine where to place it), and looks great in Discord and recordings too. Sits still right on my monitor, with no movement when jostled, and easy to angle where I need it.

This camera does not work with Windows 10 despite it claiming to on the product packaging. Absolutely scandalous that it is still offered for sale but supporting software is no longer developed. This is essentially fraudulent and a disgrace.

I will make do. it was shown in the advertisement when I brought it up as a stand alone webcam. I I was surprised that it attaches like the Logitech. I bought this because I wanted a better picture. Igt will do until I can find a better ine.

After a Windows 10 update the embeded camera in my laptop stopped working and decided to give a shot to this economic camera, as I said is decent for the Price but for sure on higher Price range we can find better wecams, again Decent.

Introduction We bought this camera to keep in touch with our son at university. We went for the Lifecam HD 3000 as I had used this device previously at work and it was a relatively cheap camera.

works well and great for it's price, i don't use the mic so i can't speak for it but the camera itself is great i use it for streaming and it does the job perfectly
