Logitech Pop Keys review: The mechanical keyboard for emoji addicts

At this point Logitech offers no fewer than 15 mechanical keyboards across its consumer and gaming divisions. So when I say that the Pop Keys is unique, that actually means something. You won’t find anything else quite like it from such a mainstream brand. The combination of mechanical practicality and fun style is something that should have broad appeal, or at least be more visually interesting than the usual gray-and-black rectangles.

The Pop Keys is an exercise in style over substance. While it has adorable looks and switches between devices easily, it’s asking a lot for rather cheap components.

Colorful and cute; Fast device switching; Easy emoji programming;

Expensive; No rechargeable battery; Emojis only work on Windows and Mac;

Great little keyboard with a pop of fun and colour!

I have this keyboard for my working from setup for a bit of affordable fun and colour, and it's been really nice to use. I'm not a mechanical keyboard aficionado, so I can't comment on the brown switches, but the keyboard does give a good satisfying click and clack. Love the ability to connect to multiple devices - I have the included USB attached to my docking monitor, and the remaining bluetooth connections for my Windows and MacOS machines when away from my desk. Function keys are great (and reprogrammable!) - lots of love for the mic mute/unmute key for Teams calls and the screen snip key has been great for recent software documentatio...view more

Logitech POP Keys Mechanical Wireless Keyboard Review

As yesterday’s kids become today’s highly sought-after demographic for marketers, it's no surprise companies want to deliver products aimed specifically at the 16-to-24-year-old Gen Z crowd. In one such attempt to capture the attention of younger audiences, Logitech seeks to walk the fine line between cool and cringe with the POP Mechanical Wireless Keyboard ($99.99). This compact, colorful wireless mechanical keyboard has some cool, quirky functionality, but also a surprising lack of customization given its tech-savvy target audience. Possibly more of a concern: It's hard to type on.Smile Like You Mean It The first thing you’ll notice about this new keyboard is just how colorful it is. The Logitech POP Mechanical Keyboard is the flagship product of Logitech's Studio Series line, which includes the $40 POP Mouse, also pictured above, that will be reviewed separately. (The two products are not available as a bundle.) The board comes in three different color options, each one more v...

A mechanical keyboard for the TikTok generation, Logitech's POP Keys Mechanical Wireless Keyboard has a lively look and unique emoji-specific keys, though we wish it were a bit easier to type on.

Vibrant color options; Excellent battery life; Can sync with up to three devices

Emoji buttons are cute but ultimately feel unnecessary; Limited customization; Round keycaps make typing tough

The Best Keyboard I have ever owned, must purchase

Amazing keyboard definitely worth the purchase, and it has the amazing feature of being able to switch between 3 different devices with just a click of a buttom

Only real men have a pink keyboard

Nice keyboard to type with, really "pops". Takes some getting used to compared to other keyboards and the keyboard itself is a bit higher than most keyboards. Would be even better with a numpad but the emoji keys are pretty cool and become super easy to access. Keyboards best ability is to connect up to three devices over Bluetooth.

Lovely keys

Easy to connect. The sound when you type is like a real typewriter. Keys are soft and easy to type in.

Good

Compare with other mechanical keyword, it has a good design on outfit and fast response. However it doesn't have internal battery and directly connection with other device. Connection must be use Bluetooth or wireless. Prefer to direct connect with usb. 3A battery must be required. But if improved the cons, then the price probably is different XD

Great product for a great price

This keyboard is so aesthetically pleasing. Be aware that it is rather loud(much like a typewriter) and the keys are quite high so your wrist will be getting a rather nice workout. You will of course need some time to acclimate to the height and sound of the keyboard but apart from those things, it has the reliable Logitech multi device function that allows you to switch between devices. I love the colour scheme of this keyboard and I actually don’t mind the sound. It’s heavy and very durable so you know that it will last you a good while. The battery life is amazing which is typical of Logitech keyboards. I do love the emoji keys. You can...view more

Love it!

Although it's taking my time to adjust to the distance of the keys and in general it's dropped my typing speed by around 20wpm, I don't regret this purchase in the least. So cute and just makes the most pleasing sound. Connects so quickly and I like how some of the keys are customisable so you can move them around! Although... I do wish there were more customisable keys.
