Logitech's G910 Orion Spark is a completely new keyboard with completely new switches, built from the ground up for gaming and full RGB backlighting.

Having used a Corsair K70 RGB Cherry MX Red for the last 3 years I decided that it was time to buy a new keyboard. It actually took me quite a long time to get used to the K70 simply because the Cherry Reds didn't seem the best for typing on and I initially made way more typing errors than normal.

The G910 Orion Spark is a great keyboard for light-loving newbies, but we wish it could do a little more (or that others, with much more time on their hands, could program new lighting tricks).

Using a basic, sub-$20 USB keyboard for gaming has satisfied my needs for years. With it, I've had my share of wins and losses. But whichever side of the scoreboard I ended up on, I've kept the capabilities of my hardware separate from my skill (or lack thereof).

This outstanding offering from Logictech is priced high but it offers a lot of bang for the buck. It features custom mechanical key switches with class leading response key response times.

One has to expect a lot from a keyboard costing ￡160 and to be fair the Logitech G910 Orion Spark delivers plenty, but it is let down by some odd software design decisions that allows the G910 to just fall shy of the mark…

Right now the Logitech G910 Orion Spark holds enough design innovations, comfort options, features and dedicate functions to warrant the $180 price tag. The ARX app is completely free and hold a lot of promise.

Although Logitech's membrane keyboards have been hit or miss, its previous mechanical outing (the G710+) was quite good, and I was eager to see how Logitech would follow up on that accomplishment.
