Hands-on: Logitech's G910 Orion Spark is a sparkly, color-changing mechanical keyboard

Lights! Lights! Lights! Shiny! Shiny! Shiny! If you woke up today and it seemed extra-bright outside, it's probably because Logitech unveiled its G910 Orion Spark keyboard this morning.

Logitech G910 Orion Spectrum

Every so often, you come across gaming peripherals that jam-pack features gamers weren't aware they needed. With the G910 Orion Spectrum ($179.99) gaming keyboard , Logitech exercises some restraint and offers up an updated, slightly scaled-back version of the G910 Orion Spark , which was...

Attractive, customizable lighting; Software comes with many convenient preloaded lighting profiles; Nine dedicated macros; 113-key rollover

Arx Dock is better in concept than execution

Logitech G910 Orion Spark mechanical keyboard review: Beautiful lighting, bad switches

Logitech's G910 Orion Spark is a completely new keyboard with completely new switches, built from the ground up for gaming and full RGB backlighting.

Brilliant keyboard but it's not perfect with a few annoyances

Having used a Corsair K70 RGB Cherry MX Red for the last 3 years I decided that it was time to buy a new keyboard. It actually took me quite a long time to get used to the K70 simply because the Cherry Reds didn't seem the best for typing on and I initially made way more typing errors than normal.

The G910 Orion Spark is a great keyboard for light-loving newbies, but we wish it could do a little more (or that others, with much more time on their hands, could program new lighting tricks).

Bright; lovely lighting; Ample function keys; Easy-to-use software; Quiet key action for a mechanical board

Needs more customizations and effects; No USB ports; Supplemental smartphone app is so-so; No real user community of lighting/effect enthusiasts

Logitech G910 Orion Spark review

Using a basic, sub-$20 USB keyboard for gaming has satisfied my needs for years. With it, I've had my share of wins and losses. But whichever side of the scoreboard I ended up on, I've kept the capabilities of my hardware separate from my skill (or lack thereof).

Logitech G910 Orion Spark RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

This outstanding offering from Logictech is priced high but it offers a lot of bang for the buck. It features custom mechanical key switches with class leading response key response times.

Logitech G910 Orion Spark Keyboard

One has to expect a lot from a keyboard costing £160 and to be fair the Logitech G910 Orion Spark delivers plenty, but it is let down by some odd software design decisions that allows the G910 to just fall shy of the mark…

Logitech G910 Orion Spark RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

Right now the Logitech G910 Orion Spark holds enough design innovations, comfort options, features and dedicate functions to warrant the $180 price tag. The ARX app is completely free and hold a lot of promise.

Great price; Proprietary Romer-G keys, fastest key switches on the market; ARX app + LGS software is a fabulous combo; Elegant design, 13 macro keys, dedicated media keys

Switches off for no reason, but very rarely; No USB ports, no audio jacks

Logitech G910 Orion Spark Review - Spark of Genius

Although Logitech's membrane keyboards have been hit or miss, its previous mechanical outing (the G710+) was quite good, and I was eager to see how Logitech would follow up on that accomplishment.

Beautiful design and lighting; Great in-game performance; Flawless macro-recording; Intuitive software

Lighting options could be more robust; Romer-G switches feel run of the mill
