Logitech has been stepping up their gaming peripheral business for a bit now by launching new and refreshed models of their mice and keyboard. As always, Logitech is trying new things to see which products have the best impact on gamers, especially when it comes to performance and comfort.

So let's recap. The G402 shares the same aggressive styling that I liked with the G502. The new look is still extremely comfortable like other Logitech mice with the exception of the defect that seemed to be specific to our sample.

I'm convinced that someone at Logitech is trying to build a spaceship. It seems like they may have gotten the technical blueprints mixed up somewhere in the design process of the G402 gaming mouse, as they've managed to call it the Hyperion Fury and have equipped it with a Fusion Engine.

So that brings us to value where the Logitech G402 retails for $59.99/£49.99 which is very much midrange for a gaming mouse. What we get is a decent quality body, good performance and a nice software suite. All in all, well worth our recommended award.
