So let's recap. The G402 shares the same aggressive styling that I liked with the G502. The new look is still extremely comfortable like other Logitech mice with the exception of the defect that seemed to be specific to our sample.

All in all, for a mouse, it's a good investment at the price. I'd buy it again. It's nice an responsive, perhaps a touch too responsive at times, but that can be tweaked with settings. I'm not a big fan of HAVING to download 3P software for every peripheral.

* 8 Buttons * Fluid switching on responsiveness * Good size for my somewhat large hands * LED isn't intrusive; but nice muted slightly blue glow

* Extremely light - I do prefer a bit more weight or heft to my mouse * Middle click seems to register two inputs with a single click; Probably a setting, but an annoying default; * Had to download the Logitech software to stop the LEDs from doing the annoying "breathing" mode (fade in and fade out)...

I'm convinced that someone at Logitech is trying to build a spaceship. It seems like they may have gotten the technical blueprints mixed up somewhere in the design process of the G402 gaming mouse, as they've managed to call it the Hyperion Fury and have equipped it with a Fusion Engine.

I would still get it even If I knew about its weaknesses. Good mice for its price

Everything is good..Drivers are really good; You can almost set everything for this mouse

After 3 months of using this mice I find that mousewheel button does not work in some positions of mousewheel

Pros: the built quality is excellent. The 5 buttons are customizable for any game and works perfectly. Three fps adjustable mode is awesome. Concs: while seeing concs it doesn't have one but it feels a little bit higher pricing cost

Works great and I'm loving the feel and texture of the mouse, overall a good buy.

Pros: The intuitive design along with the official drivers from the Logitech website make this mouse perfect for setting macros. I can program keystrokes, I can assign basic functions, or I can assign full commands with the click of a button. Brilliant product.

Great mouse. I don't use it for gaming but love the ergonomic fit and programmable keys which I've put to use. I have used quite a few mice in my time and this one is a keeper.
