Great 4k hdr player

I got this LG to go with my Vizio p series. The picture quality is wonderful for hdr10 and Dolby vision it runs quiet. 1080p looks good, DVD films not so much. I do have one grip is that when I fast forward a DVD disc for some reason the entire player freezes I have to unplug it in order for it to...

Waste of money

I purchased this Player a week ago and I am extremely dissatisfied. The picture quality is very disappointing, even though I am using a new LG 4K tv. The colours appear very washed out, there is nothing vivid about them at all, plus it is also very dark around the edges.

Simple to use - but not flawless

Quality-wise, it does what it needs to do. The plastic feels surprisingly good and not overly cheap, but still is a budget-build quality. Setup was easy - effortlessly plugged in to the AVR and TV and did exactly what it was advertised to do, with the "Dolby Vision" badge showing when putting a DV...

Much better this time!

I bought and returned the horrible UP-970 a year or so ago. Sounded like a jet aircraft! This is vastly better. Great picture include Dolby Vision at last. Clumsy looking interface but fast loading and responsive.

Easy to use and Great Picture

Great 4k Blu-Ray player. Picture quality while watching Star Wars Episode 7 on 4k Blu-Ray, really complements my 65-inch 4k Panasonic OLED. It supports Dolby Vision which is a bonus, feels like you're at the cinema. Reasonable loading times. The only downfall, which to me gives this product a 4 star instead of a 5 star is the fact that the front of the player doesn't have a window displaying timer (minutes/hours) for the movie, but this is a small trade off for a premium 4k Blu-Ray Dolby Vision player for under $350.

LG UBK90

The Player is fine for just playing DVDs and BD DVDs, however it's very weak on Apps. There's no Pandora or other Apps except for Netflix and YouTube. Also, most of the settings are automatic, so not much control of the settings. Controller doesn't work well with Samsung TV, even using ARC.

It plays DVD, BD, and 4K and has a YouTube App that works fine on the network; It also has an Optical Audio Output for A/V Amps that don't have HDMI connectivity

Only two Apps (Netflix and Utube), No Pandora or other Apps like most Samsung & Sony Players; I has no capability to connect to network Devices like PCs and Network Storage Servers (i.e; MyCloud); It expects USB Device connectivity

Great value

I read reviews to other 4k players but not the LG so took a gamble when buying it. Have to say the picture is excellent and it performs very well for the money. Actually, not sure if spending any more will get you a better performance. Not many features but I like that.

Great picture quality and great sound

I bought this just before Xmas and am really pleased that I did. I've already watched my favourite film in 4kuhd and wasn't disappointed with the result. Quality and sound was top notch and just made the experience that much better. Would recommend to anyone looking to move up from Blu-ray!
