Clear picture, but tremendous sound variation when adds are running

I have history with LCD and LED TVs but never OLED. As my first OLED, I am very impressed with the picture quality. It is worth the money. Our TV habits include movies and TV series, much more enjoyable on this screen. Even the news looks better! ;). I paired with an LG Sound Bar using HDMI ARC and it is seamless operation. I have more to learn about the functionality of the TV and the tuning possibilities but out of the box this TV exceeds my expectations. I was surprised at its (heavy) weight when setting up but I could handle the TV myself. If you're mounting on the wall, be sure to get into studs for proper support.

I purchased this to replace an aging HD LCD set and the difference in picture quality is stunning. I expected to be impresssed by UHD HDR content, but even older SD shows look outstanding. I can't say that I'm a great fan of webOS 6. It gets the job done but we find it overly complicated and I dislike the ads and content suggestions from channels I don't subscribe to. My wife has some hearing loss so the ability to use speakers and headphones at the same time is nice but it would be better if the set allowed us to use headphones and the ARC connection simultaneously. Currently I can't use the soundbar and headphones together. I would like a dedicated pause/play button on the remote.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I highly recommend this TV for people who play a lot of games and are also seeking excellwnt picture quality. It has a great featureset for the price and is the best gaming TV on the market with 4K 120Hz support, VRR via 4x HDMI 2.1 ports, low input pag and auto low latency mode (ALLM). The game optimiser menu also makes calibration simpler than previous models. Picture quality is also excellent with motion smoothing and very good upscaling capability. HDR support is great, though the lack of HDR10+ may be an issue for a small amount of content. You can spend more on the G1 series of TVs, but its honestly not worth the extra screen brightness unless youre placing it in a very brightly lit environment.

Went to the store to by the 2020 OLED 55 inch CX model and walked away the the 2021 C! model. I could not be more pleased with the LG OLED CX. I was particularly interested in the Bluetooth capabilities and advanced processor - I was not disappointed! While the picture quality is stunning it is the fast, efficient and ease of navigation as well as compatibility with Bluetooth capable earbuds, cell phone, laptop, home smart devices and speakers that far surpassed my expectations. While the TV speakers are very good, you can easily connect a variety of Bluetooth earbuds and combinations of speakers quickly. Bluetooth earbuds keep the peace in the house with great sound while the rest of the house is in silence.
