Pretty good and safe pendrive, steel case.
Great security in your pocket. Feel better going to meeting etc knowing that if you lose your USB your not in trouble! I mean your meeting is knackered if you do not have back up in the cloud or similar but I find a USB so much more simple....
I've had a 16GB unit for 10 months now, carried it in my pocket most of the time, and have had no issues. Unit is very fast (if you have USB3) and has been very reliable. I have been using it on a Surface Pro and a Toshiba laptop.
Data is secure but Good to back up elsewhere in case drive is lost.
Overall, an excellent and affordable product for security on the files you want kept safe. Best bang for your buck, complete with sturdy metal casing. Compatible with both MacOS and Windows without having to install any software. Unsure f this will work with linus however?
Meets exactly what I was looking for; A secure USB stick to carry around finance and health files without fear of a security breach; 256 bit encryption is automatic without having to install and run another program for it to work; This is like an IronKey but without the premium price.
Can take 30 seconds longer to access your files vs a regular stick, but for this peace of mind.; worth it; I use a plain USB stick for all other files I could care less about, purpose met; Does not work with linux (that I know yet?
I love the WD Security app. I had to upgrade to Datalicker 3 to work on Yosemite (not real happy about that because my old 8GB with Datalocker 2 worked fine). But, at these prices, ... This is a tank! It weighs a lot and it gives you the illusion of strength. So far, no issues.
Setup/initialization went well with creating the password, formatting, etc. Easy. Then out of probably the first 20 to 30 times (it did work right ONCE during this period) I inserted the drive into the USB port, nothing happened. I would navigate to the exe file on the drive and click it.
Security of personal files is a big problem in our digital world. Malware runs rampant on the Internet and if you're not careful total control of your computer can be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
The DataTraveler Locker+ G3 is one of Kingston's newest offerings in the portable USB storage market. To any PC enthusiast, and even some less experienced users, the name Kingston is a familiar one when it comes to storage, as the company dabbles in a bit of everything, from system memory and solid...
Locked Like Fort Knox; Windows and Mac Compatibility; Surface Design; Speedy Transfers; Good Value
Don't Forget the Password!; No Love for Linux
I like the drive but the LED is too annoying. Returning mine.
Heavy-duty construction; Very solid
Annoying bright blue LED
