When it comes to pure performance this drive is on top of all SATA-based drives when it comes to read speed and at the top when it comes to writes. In ATTO Disk Benchmark (which we used as our definitive benchmark for SSDs) the drive scored read and write speeds of 563 MB/s and 536 MB/s write...

We were not really expecting this level of performance or quality from the Kingston HyperX Savage. Not that we expected a lacklustre performance or maybe even mildly exciting, we just never expected to be so wow'd.
After the controllers have cooled, I think it's perfectly safe to say that Kingston really did their homework with the HyperX Savage SSD, earning it an "A" in terms of performance and quality.
Enthusiast level performance; Gorgeous red enthusiast design; 240GB and 480GB relatively affordable

It is extremely well built and does everfything it says it can do. I'm using it as main drive with my PC, in my case Im using with Flight Simulator Prepar3D, and several additions that occupy 375 GB.

This SSD has made my 2009 Mac Pro run with amazing speed. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a older Mac or PC with high end specs and wants to bring life back to their computer

The SATA-based SSD market is so saturated with good drives that it's nearly impossible for a mediocre offering to earn a recommendation. When the product's price is as high as Kingston's HyperX Savage (240GB for $150), it had better be impeccable or risk falling below Samsung's 850 Pro (256GB for...
A return to the premium accessory package; Looks good with HyperX Savage RAM
