It's probably the best reader for people that only want a device for reading. I have both an iPad 3 and iPad mini and prefer the iPad mini over the Kindle Paperwhite and the iPad 3. If I am going to buy a device I want to be able to do multiple things on it.

The Amazon Kindle Paperwhite is the latest version of the basic Kindle e-book reader from Amazon, and instead of the usual e-ink screen that most people have come to expect on similar devices, this one comes with a touch-enabled Paperwhite display.
