It's probably the best reader for people that only want a device for reading. I have both an iPad 3 and iPad mini and prefer the iPad mini over the Kindle Paperwhite and the iPad 3. If I am going to buy a device I want to be able to do multiple things on it.

Very good for reading. It has an internal light so it can look like paper, or it can look like an electronic tablet. The battery life is poor though. It runs out of battery even when turned off. It is touch-screen though, which I do like. I would reccomend it.

Thanks to Amazon's unparalleled ebook library and ease of use, the Paperwhite is a fantastic ereader to own. The screen is excellent, both the light and touch elements, and the whole device is well built.
