Our house has no insulation, nor air-conditioning and it gets very hot and humid. This fan was purchased for the purpose of placing in my bedroom. Easy to assemble, tilt adjustable, although keep in mind, that this fan does not oscillate! I just assumed all fans oscillate. I was disappointed in that fact, as sometimes, when sleeping, you do not want constant direct air flow. If that point does not bother you, than this fan gives good air flow and you certainly feel the difference, in comparison to cheaper plastic 3 blade fans. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

Bought this on line - looks great - very effective when directly on you - doesn't extend as high as I would have like but my fault for not double checking that and also doesn't oscillate

I bought this fan a few weeks ago online at the Jb website, went in to collect it, the process was easy and the staff were wonderful. This is a very good fan, it's strong, very good quality, the fan itself can pretty much spin to face any direction you want, that includes facing the roof or floor. 3 dial control, the control panel is on the back of it. The settings are Low, medium and high, but they all feel like high, higher and the hospital highest. There is a weight conveniently in the box when you buy this fan, it connects to the bottom of the fan to prevent it from flying away. Don't make the same mistake I did of walking the fan across 6kms. If I had known there was a weight in the box, I would have ditched it hahah Anyway, you want this fan apposed to the plastic ones. This one will last forever.

Really nice looking fan but far too noisy, even on the low setting. Too noisy to sleep with it going and conversation is also difficult due to the noise.

Picked up as a panic because the new place is too hot and creates a prefect breeze on even the lowest setting
