A travel writer using the camera to illustrate my text. On my initial foray with it, the battery had run out at the end of six hours photography - much less than my other camera - and I didn't have a spare battery. I don't think this is long enough for a new battery so that was disappointing. A worse fault is not being able to transfer the images directly into my computer via the card slot on the computer and laptop. I have to connect the camera and this means carrying another cable with me on working trips. This was a major disappointment and means a return to my older, Sony camera for convenience.
