Jaybird Vista review: See how they fly

If you’re after a set of fitness-friendly true wireless earbuds and aren’t into the price demanded by the Beats PowerBeats Pro, the Jaybird Vista are more than just an adequate substitute for the meanwhile. They’re an alternative that’s almost sure to delight, not to mention an enormous improvement over Jaybird’s previous efforts.

I don’t know if I can quite recommend them without caveat but I can certainly recommend them with a lot more enthusiasm than previous Jaybird earbuds.

Earlier this year, Jaybird scored solid marks with its $179.99 Run XT true wireless earphones. The company's new wire-free Vista earphones debut at the same price, and deliver similarly powerful bass depth and crisp highs with customizable EQ. Also like the Run XT (and all Jaybird earphones), they feature an exercise-friendly, waterproof build. Aside from slightly better battery life, there really isn't much of a difference between the two pairs, but the Vista are replacing the Run XT, so we're giving them the same high score, though there are lots of strong options in this price range. Bought a few weeks back, have had no troubles using them. The sound quality is amazing and the fit is super snug having come out with any of the various physical activity I do. I will say my ears are quite big and I wear the size two so anyone with tiny ears might struggle to fit the size one into their ear properly
