Great Quality Sound

Been using the JBL Quantum Duo for a couple weeks and thought to share my opinion. Sound is amazing. Crystal clear no matter if the volume is really low or on full blast!!! Used them with mini jack to the telly and PS4 for gaming, Bluetooth from the laptop for music and gaming and quality on the sound is bang on. Lights are a nice feature too (had them side ways to look at them). The only thing I don't like is the on off button and bluetooth are flat and not so easy to find if it's dark. Still though easy to get used to. Minijack input in the front could be handy but personally haven't used it as I like the sound in the room and don't have the need to keep quiet.

Great colours

I had trouble contecting these to my Nintendo switch and xbox. There was just a very strange humming noise. I could connect to my phone very easily and the bass was fantastic. As i had these for gaming i was very disappointed. The volume that they could go up too was very good and i loved that i could change the colours to have it a consistent colour, or a range of colours to the beat, is a really clever idea. The bluetooth was easy to connect too and very simple to set up for my phone.

Turns off during use

Bought these a week ago, and they werw great. Great looking, awesome sound. BUT, they just turn off while i am using them (on pc, had no problems with bluetooth). Also, when turning them back on, it takes a while before the sound returns, which makes it quite a frustrating experience for gaming. It's a shame, because I really liked these speakers and would have had no problems recommending them. Searching the internet, it seems like I am not the only one having this issue.

I scared myself with the surround sound

Well, I clicked the surround sound button before playing Hellblade and it was BRILLIANT. Nearly wet myself, but hey thats part of it. The speakers seem to throw sound further than their actual position in the room and so a few times i did glance over my shoulder in (embarrassed ) genuine fear. The quality overall of sound is very good, nice bass especially. The build quality is good and although i wouldnt pay extra for any fancy lighting, it is a nice touch. They dont like my dvd player at all, the whole time they made a really irritating buzzing which isnt a problem when the sound just comes from the tv but maybe its because its an old dvd player. Bluetooth works very well, I could get some youtube ACDC really loud and it sounded great. Overall, great speakers for the price. Seriously, use that surround sound button and play horror games with great soundtracks. Dead space, silent hill ect. You wont be disappointed.
