Stripped down of all its niceties, the JBL Synchros S400BT are a great set of headphones. The sound is full and it hits all the marks no matter what kind of music you toss at it. Comfort was never an issue and the battery life seemed to last longer than it should have.

I've had these headphones now for about 2+ years. They still sound as great as they did the first day! Will probably sound even greater with a headphone amp. The detail in the music is amazing. Don't pay more for anything else. Try these and I am sure you will be impressed!
