Price is good, but LGA1700 motherboards cost so much that the same $$$ will get you a 5600X + motherboard as a 12400F+motherboard. Intel have significantly improved their bundled CPU cooler! Runs well in Win10 due to no "Efficiency" cores. Benchmarks pretty much within the margin of error between this and 5600X

This may be the best bang for buck CPU available at the moment. Pair it with a nice 600 series socket 1700 motherboard and you have a solid 12th generation platform. Paired with a low end RTX graphics card there seems to be very little as far as gaming is concerned that can hold it back. thoroughly recommended for economy gaming build.
