It may not be the perfect smartwatch, but as a fitness tracking watch the Watch Gt2e is very versatile and the data available in the Health app is in-depth and easy to understand. It's also not hideously expensive. For the money, it's great.

We'd have to ping Huawei about the exact meaning of the "e" in its new Watch GT 2e wearable name but, judging from our experience with the smartwatch so far, it may very well stand for "excellent".

The Huawei Watch GT 2e surprised us with its solid fitness tracking. Oh, and the two-week battery life isn't bad, either....

Huawei Watch GT2e is a very good purchase, but first and foremost for Android users.

Comprehensive activity meter with 100 activities. Easy to use, waterproof and very good battery life.

Very limited support for third-party apps. Supports e.g. not Strava. The iOS app has fewer features than the Android app.

The Huawei Watch GT 2e offers a whole lot of watch for your money. It’s still a predominantly fitness-focused device though. This is more of a sports watch than a smartwatch. Those sports features on the whole work well, and you do still have that great battery life that beats the likes of what...

Huawei continues to deliver sturdy smartwatches that can compete with the very best on battery life and features. The choice between the GT 2 and GT 2e comes down the personal preference, but I do prefer the sportier look and feel of the new version and you do get more RAM.
