Wow! Bought this when mate came, because the price broke. For what I get, I really find nothing to complain about. All it does makes it extremely effective. Battery, camera, onion etc. After a few weeks of use, I'm still impressed and find new interesting features and stuff. Highly recommended!

Huawei P20 Pro: Camera review

It won't replace your DSLR or mirrorless camera, but the P20 Pro's unique camera setup and the quality of its output mean that it shines as photographic tool. Huawei has promised a lot with the P20 Pro, and with such respectable hardware on board, the camera's impressive performance shouldn't come...

Effective image stabilisation; Capable of excellent detail; Optical aberrations processed out of JPEGs

Fake bokeh effect not perfect; Some noise reduction/sharpening issues; Slight lag when shooting Raw files

Huawei P20 Pro Leica Review

The Huawei P20 Pro is Huawei's top of the range flagship camera phone, the smartphone features a "Leica Triple Camera" and it is the first smartphone with three cameras on the back, consisting of a 40mp f/1.8 main camera, 20mp f/1.6 black and white camera, and an 8mp f/2.4 telephoto camera giving 3x...

Fast and responsive; Large 6.1inch screen; 40mp main camera; 20mp f/1.6 black and white camera; 3x telephoto camera; Large 4000mAh battery; Plenty of storage and RAM

Lacks a headphone socket; Soft corners with main (40/10mp) camera; Unimpressed by 5x zoom image quality; 4K video lacks stabilisation

Huawei P20 Pro Long Term Review: A worthy Flagship

So, yes. What do I think about the Huawei P20 Pro as a whole I would say that it is the perfect Huawei device. I mean among the others Huawei has produced till now, this one is the best offering. And if you will get the P20 pro, it will surely be for the cameras.

Huawei P20 & P20 Pro Review

Chinese company Huawei has been on a streak in the past few years by selling millions of phones and quickly growing to become the world's third-largest phone maker, behind Apple and Samsung.

Excellent camera on P20 Pro; especially for night photos; Beautiful gradient glass back; High quality OLED display on P20 Pro; Great loudspeaker quality; Plentiful 128GB storage

Blatant Apple copy; EMUI custom interface has dated looks; glitchy; Pricey for what it is; No wireless charging

Huawei P20 Pro review

It’s been a long time since a phone of the Huawei P20 Pro’s quality came along to upset the Apple-Samsung duopoly we’ve all gotten used to. Having experienced its amazing triple lens camera, shimmering design and heavyweight performance for a fortnight now, I’m convinced it’s the best new phone of the year so far. Hell, I’ll go one better: it’s the best phone you can buy right now. When so many handsets offer pretty much the same thing right now, the P20 Pro deserves credit for doing a little bit more for less of your money. It’s the first Huawei handset to offer quality through and through. Sure, some software-related rough edges remain but they’re tolerable at worst and totally eradicable if you have the knowhow. Striking just the right balance between borrowed inspiration and genuine innovation, the Huawei P20 Pro is a telephonic tour de force. MORE: The 10 best cases for the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro

Stellar camera; Pin-sharp screen; Gorgeous design;

Occasionally awkward software; No headphone jack;

Huawei P20 Pro review: Triple-threat camera beats the Galaxy S9 Plus

The Huawei Honor 10 is a speedy Android phone with a notch. Check out our review.

The Huawei P20 Pro's groundbreaking low-light mode and stunning twilight colour scheme make it a serious contender to Galaxy, iPhone and Pixel phones. Sadly, you can't buy it in the US.

The Huawei P20 Pro's three cameras snap amazing shots in low light; Its coolest colour will turn heads.

It lacks wireless charging, and there's no headphone jack or expandable storage; The auto camera settings don't always produce the best results.

Huawei P20 Pro review

In the P20 Pro Huawei has delivered a stunning phone which should be on your shortlist along with the Galaxy S9 and iPhone X. Sure, there are some niggles such as the lack of stabilisation for 4K video, no headphone jack and no wireless charging, but if your priority is photography then the P20 Pro does not disappoint. Add in the long battery life, dual SIM slots and great screen and you've got the complete package: this is one of the best phones of 2018. It's a fair amount more than the regular model so save yourself £200 on the regular P20 if you don't mind 'only' dual rear cameras, no waterproofing and an LCD screen vs OLED.

Huawei P20 Pro review: See it and believe the hype

When faced with a device like the Huawei P20 Pro - which emphasizes the camera side of the equation so strongly - you inevitably have to scrutinize just how important a part of the overall picture a smartphone’s camera really is. After all, these days, once you go above $800 or so, the differences between the different smartphones you can buy largely come down to two things: the software experience and the camera.

A good smartphone is more than just a camera - and while the P20 Pro’s camera do catch more of the finer details than the competition can, a lot of elements around that camera don’t always deliver on the same level.

Phenomenal camera; Really competitive price;

EMUI remains a weakness; No headphone jack;
