easy to assemble and use

I bought the fan as a gift, but putting it together wasn't good. The cover of the fan actually did not match up as it should and was very difficult to affix. Less than half a day after assembly, the family dog bumped into it, knocked it over (onto carpet) and the motor mechanism at the back caved in. This made the fan unusable. It may have just been this one unit, but really not impressed by this product.

Bought last summer, worked then, tried again for this summer and can’t seem to be functioning. Worst product

bought - assembled - plugged in - switched on ..... nothing happens. Seems to be broken out of the box. If you buy the product, note that the assembly instructions have two mistakes. Once a ring is instructed to be loosened clockwise when it should say anticlockwise, and the step to attach the front cover is missing.
