We have had the fridge a few weeks now and must say happy we made this purchase. It operates quietly, great size to accomodate our family's needs. Keeps the beer cold along with other food and freezer works great and not freezer-burning like our old freezer did. Its a nice stainless finish with simple design and the LED lighting feels like youve opened a portal to heaven when you open the door. Did I mention it displays the temperature?

Delivery took place and installation was quick and done with care. The Fridge it self is really good, lots of space inside. The quick cool and freeze functions are really awesome!. Fruit and Veg would not have a very long life inside our Older fridge - they would be limp and dried out in less than a week... The Haier HRF520BS 517L has this unique fruit and veg storage area that controls humidity, which greatly increases the lifespan of fresh fruit and veg while keeping them crisp and vibrant. Hand on heart, I seriously recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a new Fridge.

Purchased this fridge based on reviews Haier fridges about 2 weeks ago now. Obviously longevity isn't something I can comment on however I can say that this fridge works great, has an awesome capacity for it's price, has the feel and look of a much more expensive item (glass shelves, electronic display, clean look) and fits into a reasonably small space which suited us and may suite older kitchens designed for older fridges. Was hesitant to buy a Chinese branded and manufactured product but why? Most other brands cheaper models are made in China and the claim is that it's under stricter quality control. Yeah well I'm not so sure about that these days and I feel that Chinese brands like return customers just as much as the next brand and offer the manufacturers warranty to back that up. In Haiers case it's Fisher and Paykel that do the warranty/service work as they own 90% of Fisher and Paykel now anyways. Ok I'm waffling on now...we're really happy with this fridge. For the size of the fridge, and what we spent on it, we got a great deal. Overall I'm really happy with it! I bought this fridge because I wanted a freezer with drawers for extra space and having 3 in this guy was a winner for me. It doesn't have a fixed ice tray but it frees us up to store the ice where we want in our own tray (it comes with a little movable tray but it's pretty pathetic). The fridge also has an extra tray in the fridge section. I thought it was an extra crisper drawer but it actually has its own air flow and you tell the fridge what you're storing in it and it cools it separately (say you're keeping seafood in the fridge, pop it in this section and it'll stay at a slightly cooler temp than the rest of the fridge). My only niggle at this point is a seal on the freezer section that's not overly secure and wants to pop off if you're not careful with closing the drawers before closing the door but it pops back on pretty easily.
