Would think more than twice before buying. Started visiting service centre.

Bought for my bro and handed over to him. Initially issue of downloading. then issue of glitching while playing mp3s. Kind of annoying sounds. Tried everything. my bro dint know that we could return it within 30 days and he keep visiting service centres.... More than 21k priced device and hopeless.

Lacks desirable specs

1:There isn't any optical image stabilization in the camera, so the photo mode is to some degree handicapped. There is no excuse these days why a camera manufacturer should omit this crucial feature. 2:The speaker volume for music could be better. 3:The battery isn't removable.

"HtC Desire 820G is the best average budget mobile phone nowadays"

I have this phone for 6 months now and all i can say is that i love every single thing and detail about it. - The screen is more than amazing and the quality and clarity of it is brilliant.

Good looking; Amazing screen; Loud boom sound speakers and good front camera for selfies

Battery life; Headphones; Rear camera

HTC Desire 820 review

HTC's latest mid-range phone is the Desire 820 -- an oversized 4G Android device with a big screen and big speakers for around half the price of the HTC One M9 hero handset. But is it a bargain? Unlike the higher-end One range, the Desire 820 has an all-plastic body.

Robust build; large HD screen; 13- and 8-megapixel cameras

Battery life not great; suffers in comparison with rivals

HTC Desire 820 review: Mixed performance mid-ranger

One of HTC's surprise successes over the past year has been in the Desire family. The Desire 816 sold well in Asia, was updated in the Desire 820 on review here and has a newer model waiting in the wings, the Desire 826 .

Design; build; HTC Sense is nicely refined

Price; Battery life; display not the best; some sensors missing; so doesn't have a fully-packed feature set

If you are looking for a mid-range, easy-to-use smartphone with good features, the HTC Desire 820s is certainly a good choice. HTC Desire 820 Smartphone Review

KitGuru says: If you are after a mid-range phone, you may want to keep looking. While the Desire 820 is not bad, it's not as good as the standard-setting OPPO R5.

Strong performance; Large; if not FHD; display

Awful battery; Bigger than other 5.5-inch devices; Build quality wasn't quite there; Photos weren't as detailed as the competition; Clunky UI

Smartphone industry is on steroids and manufacturers have to come out with something exceptional every time. Moreover, the expectations further rise if a manufacturer is offering an upgraded version of their product.

Large screen serves well for multimedia tasks; slim and attractive design; stable UI; good audio quality by BoomSound speakers; solid call quality

Poor resolution display; slippery construction; can only be expanded up-to 32 GB; poor battery back-up; average cameras; heats up while gaming and video playback
