Lacks desirable specs

1:There isn't any optical image stabilization in the camera, so the photo mode is to some degree handicapped. There is no excuse these days why a camera manufacturer should omit this crucial feature. 2:The speaker volume for music could be better. 3:The battery isn't removable.

The past few years have been quite significant for HTC- it has released line of mid-range handsets and expanded its operations to cover everything from selfie-centric Desire EYE to affordable Desire 510.

Good Processing Speed; Crisp HD Display; Good Sound Performance; 4G Compatible; Can Run Most of HD Games; Lag-free Performance

Average Battery Life; Bit Expensive Compared to Rivals; Screen Prone to Smudges; Poor Sunlight Visibility; Average Camera

HTC Desire 820s Express Review : Packed with power

HTC has been almost carpet bombing the Indian smartphone market with phones across price points over the past year or so. It has given the Taiwanese company some hits and a few misses. However, the company seems to be pushing more updates of its popular models for 2015.

HTC Desire 820 in-depth review - The 64-bit champion

HTC are best known for the award-winning unibody sporting flagship series that has won more than one award at the Mobile Choice Consumer Awards over the years while the Desire series is their mid-range proposition.

Great camera specs; mid-range price point; Robust body; HTC Boomsound

Phablet size maybe off-putting to some; Not too many colour options available; Battery under-par for the size

Smartphone industry is on steroids and manufacturers have to come out with something exceptional every time. Moreover, the expectations further rise if a manufacturer is offering an upgraded version of their product.

Large screen serves well for multimedia tasks; slim and attractive design; stable UI; good audio quality by BoomSound speakers; solid call quality

Poor resolution display; slippery construction; can only be expanded up-to 32 GB; poor battery back-up; average cameras; heats up while gaming and video playback
