The HP's main claim to fame is reverse Polish notation support. Some people may find that perplexing, but it allows you to enter long expressions without using parentheses. I have exclusively used HP reverse polish notation calculators since the Mid-1980's. I am a working engineer and use my calculator a lot. When my old 48G finally died, I bought this as a replacement. Works fine. Been happy so far. The calculator was shipped properly and arrived as promised.

When my 41 started getting flaky, I picked up a 33S on clearance at Walmart. I was pleased to find it approved for FE and PE exams, and so is the 35S. I saw a review somewhere else regarding the displays.

If you want a RPN scientific calculator without spending a lot of money, this is probably a good one for you. I didn't want to spend the money on the bigger HP calculators.
