"HP - You did it again! - HP OfficeJet Pro 8210"

Introduction Ok, so we are talking about HP (Hewlett Packard) here – a pretty well-known make for a pretty large variety of products. In this case, the HP Office Jet Pro 8210 in my product of choice in my office for printing photos or colour documents.

Outstanding print quality; Multiple ways to Connect; Fast; easy and reliable little printer

The self-ordering of cartridges might not be your thing

Just three problems

Otherwise, it's great; Really duplexes, no user intervention required (if the paper in the magazine doesn't slide); However, you must install the HP software to get the duplexer to work, the standard Windows 7 print driver won't do it (wired Ethernet connected)

Just three problems: 1; Sometimes reprints, unsolicited, when the computer boots up again; This is bad when it contains sensitive personal info, like bank account numbers; Even when I wait a few minutes after printing before shutting down the computer; 2.

Great Printer.

The price could not be better - and the fact that it came with all of the ink was fantastic. We love that it has 2 paper trays to allow it to always be at the ready.

Perfect printer for our needs

Easily set up for wireless via the printer - without a hard-wire connecting wire. Interfaces easily with multiple computers. Print speed is excellent. Prints double-sided. Clear and sharp results. Reasonably priced.

HP Office Pro 8210 - Curates egg

HP Officejet Pro 8210 Replacement for HP Officejet Pro 8000 which failed after ~7 years use. 8210 works OK but driver has inferior features to older Pro 8000 Printer driver; New driver lacks print preview function which is a major step backwards.

this printer is a print above the rest

has so far proved excellent in every respect as one would expect from a company with hp standards and reputation. would highly recommend as we have purchased many hp products in the past and will continue to do so in the future

HP OfficeJet Pro 8210 Printer Review

One of a fairly small group of moderately priced single-function color inkjet business printers, the HP OfficeJet Pro 8210 Printer ($129.99) delivers a basic feature set, a good range of connectivity choices, and solid if unspectacular output quality. While other color inkjets offer more features (the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-5110 ( at Amazon) ) or better output quality (the Canon Maxify iB4020 Wireless Small Office Inkjet Printer ($399.99 at Amazon) ), the 8210 comes in at a somewhat lower price and should be fine for low-volume use in a small or home office. Design and Features Like most HP printers, the 8210 has a two-tone chassis (black and dark gray) that is stylish and attractive. Measuring 8 by 19.5 by 16.5 inches (HWD) with the output tray extended, and weighing slightly under 19 pounds, it's not really too big for most desktops, and it's quiet and well-behaved—no rocking or vibrating. Connectivity options consist of Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and USB, as well as Wireless Direct, HP...

The HP OfficeJet Pro 8210 Printer's price is reasonable for a single-function inkjet designed for use in low-volume print and copy environments, and it prints well enough for typical business use.

Low purchase price; Good overall print quality; Instant Ink eligible; Multiple connectivity options

Noticeable banding when printing dark gradients; Lackluster colors in images
